How to Fix Windows scripthost error issues

The windows script host is an automatically technology for operating system that provides scripting abilities comparable to batch files but windows script host is supported widely for operating system.

Method 1: System file checker and checkdisk

Step 1:

Open the command prompt with admin rights

Step 2:

enter the following commands
sfc /scannow

Once if complete the after try the chkdsk
chkdsk

Step 3:

Restart the system and check the status

Method 2: Boot process

Step 1:

Open the Run prompt and type the msconfig

Step 2:

Select the slective startup option in general menu

Step 3:

Uncheck the load startup items in selective startup

Step 4:

Now go to the service tab and select checkbox option hide all microsoft services

Step 5:

Disable the all other remaining services

Step 6:

Select ok and restart the services.

Method 3: Remove vmapplet and winstations in Registry editor

Step 1:

Open the run prompt and type regedit

Step 2:

Explore the following key as shown

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon

Step 3:

Delete the vmapplet and winstation disabled entries

Step 4:

Then open userinit top of the vmapplet and delete other value data except the follwing entry
c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe

Step 5:

Save the setting and restart the system

Method 4: Enable or Disable windows script host

Step 1:

Open the run prompt and type regedit

Step 2:

Explore the following key as shown

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings

Step 3:

Select the enabled dword and change the values

A value of 1 will enable Windows Script Host
A value of 0 will disable Windows Script Host

Step 4:

Save the setting and restart the system

Method 5: Repair the operating system

Step 1:

Insert the bootable disc/ USB

Step 2:

Select the repair your computer tab in installation

Step 3:

After completing the repair options it will be clear
